Become a Fearless Certified Practitioner

The certification program explores the Fearless Organization Scan instrument for measuring psychological safety in teams. While you will be certified to access and use the instrument, the program includes key facilitator skills, models and tools for hosting team debriefs with quality dialogue. You will be key to making conversations work.

Program Outcomes

You will:

  • Gain an understanding of psychological safety, including how psychological safety surfaces in teams, an introduction to the Fearless Organization Scan (FOS) and why to measure psychological safety using the FOS.
  • Learn how to prepare the leader and the team, set up and send a project in the portal, including statistical validity, what to look for and how to interpret the FOS data and participate in a debrief.
  • Explore how the FOS sheds light on team dynamics, where practitioners can make meaning from the scan and how to prepare for a debrief – team or organisation.
  • Share debrief experiences and insights, including tips and traps, Fearless Organization Scan pricing and supervision and consulting options.
  • Setup and Debrief a Pilot Team. To further build on previous program learning, participants will get first-hand practical experience using the FOS with a team of their choice. Participants will set up their own ‘pilot’ team in the portal and debrief the results with their ‘pilot’ team. Faculty guidance is included.
