How to get there?

Parking

Valet is available: $60 per day

Self-parking: Grand Millennium Auckland has its own parking; the entrance is located just past the lobby drive entrance on Mayoral Drive. You can enter direct from the covered parking building. Charges – Guest Self-Park: $5.00 per hour until $25.00. $25.00 for 24-hours.

How to pay for parking

Vehicle owners can apply a debit or Credit Card to their vehicles license plate at the onsite kiosk, Online Kiosk or Mobile Parking App anytime when their vehicle is in the carpark building or on exit.

Arrival Instructions

Next to the Hotel Reception area you will find the PeopleTalking Event Registration Desk, where you can check in and then be escorted to the Aucklander Room for pre-event refreshments.

Professor Amy C. Edmondson

Amy C. Edmondson is the Novartis Professor of Leadership and Management at the Harvard Business School, a chair established to support the study of human interactions that lead to the creation of successful enterprises that contribute to the betterment of society. Best known for her groundbreaking work on psychological safety in the workplace, Edmondson is the author of seven books, along with more than 150 articles and case studies. Edmondson has been recognised by the biannual Thinkers50 global ranking of management thinkers since 2011, and most recently was ranked #1 in 2021 and 2023. She was also named the 2021 Champion of Talent Development by the Association of Talent Development (ATD). Her most recent book, “The Fearless Organisation” (Wiley 2019), offers practical guidance for leaders of teams and organisations who are serious about success in the modern economy. Amy’s new book, “Right Kind of Wrong: The Science of Failing Well,” provides a framework for thinking, discussing, and practising failure wisely, and was released in September 2023. The book is due to be translated into 15 additional languages and was selected for the Financial Times and Schroders Best Business Book of the Year award.

Kieran White

Kieran White is the Founder and Chief Vision Officer of PeopleTalking, a niche consultancy that specialises in helping organisations build better environments for the organisation and its people to thrive. Over the last 30 years, Kieran has worked with hundreds of leaders and teams and is an internationally recognised expert in the field of conversational agility, psychological safety, and human systems psychology. Kieran’s particular expertise is in supporting leaders and teams to become more conscious and skilled at helping their organisation in creating conditions that foster sustainable high performance. 

Kieran continues to work directly with selected leaders and teams; however, he now spends most of his time generating new approaches to the work and serving as a design and delivery thinking partner for other PeopleTalking team members. 

Kieran holds a first degree in Finance, a Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychotherapy. 

Kieran now lives in Sydney, Australia, is a father of two teenage girls, and is a passionate all-age master’s athlete, having represented Australia at four World Championships in Sprint, Standard, and Long-Distance Duathlon.
